Macro Help: Ground Targeting

Hello!

Is there a way to make a macro execut a power that you normally have to click on the ground, but just have it execute as if you clicked (X) number of yards in front of yourself?

This is for Shukuchi. If I want it to be useful to get me out of a tight spot, I can't waste time trying to click on the ground. I dont even know where my mouse pointer is half the time.

Can I make a macro that executes Shukuchi at max range whatever direction I'm facing?

For yalms infront of yourself, no I don't believe so. Someone feel free to correct me though if I'm mistaken.
You can use a <t> toggle to place the marker under the target you've currently selected though. So as long as it's in range you'll go right to it.

Try not to rely on macros too often for battle though. They aren't great lol.

You can macro it to a target.

Jump to target (such as an enemy or friendly npc)
/action Shukuchi <t>

Jump to the tank
/action Shukuchi <2>

Jump to the fourth (usually ranged) DPS or healer
/action Shukuchi <4>

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately jumping to a target won't really help me with the use-case I'm looking for. Ah well, can't have everything.

Your use case will be appropriately handled beginning with Endwalker Early Access. Ground target actions are going to have /characterconfig options to leash the cursor to max distance and to activate on a second press of the action. With these two options enabled, you will be able to rest your mouse cursor far ahead of you and just tap Shukuchi twice to teleport the max distance.
