Fantasia rerolled and now I'm a default human (bugged hairstyles)

I popped a fantasia about three weeks ago and about two days into it my new race reverted to a default human. I tried contacting support but they referred me here.

I'm also unable to change hairstyles in the Inn. I can choose a hairstyle, pay the 2000 gil charge and have it on my character but the second I leave the Inn my character is reset to the default hairstyle.

I've already submitted an Ingame bug report however it says they do not provide individual support. I also contacted a GM who told me it's not something they can help with and told me to post on the forum.

Hmm.

I'm very sorry to have to be the one to tell you this, but we can't do jack about it here. Them telling you to come here is basically "we don't want to deal with this, get lost".

Official support/GMs are the only ones that can give you an extra appearance change or otherwise fix this issue. Good luck. Dealing with SE's support, you'll definitely need it.

I was hrothgar before the fantasia randomly turned me into a human lol I guess everythings bugging out on me now

Okay, that's something your first post didn't make clear. So you fantasiaed into a Hrothgar and then randomly turned into a Hyur. If you didn't use another Fantasia potion since then, deliberately turning into Hrothgar weeks ago shouldn't have anything to do with this issue occurring now, so you may mislead the technical support people if they read you saying that a Fantasia turned you human.

Though going from the forum avatar, some part of the system might still think you're a Hrothgar and (if nothing else) is framing your picture accordingly.

That might also account for the hairstyle issues since Hrothgar don't have access to the full range, just a few slots repurposed as fur patterns, so maybe the system can't cope with it. Or maybe it's the same bug as whatever caused the spontaneous race change in the first place.

No I made it clear in my initial post to the GM, the post here wasn't as detailed and that's my fault but yes. I used fantasia to become a Hrothgar and a day or two later it just randomly reverted, now I'm a hyur and when I change hairstyles it won't save them. Just pops back to my current hairstyle. The character select screen says I'm a Hyur male. Profile listed as Hyur/The Lost. I'll also provide a video in a couple minutes of the reverting hairstyle.

That's interesting – The Lost is a Hrothgar clan, not Hyur.

You're showing as a Highlander though, which is the equivalent "Clan B" (not the default choice) for that race.
