I want it to be automatically synced though, not needing extra steps each time I change something on either job; that's what's not already present in the game.

Right, but I don't want to have to switch to say my last few console tabs whenever I switch from a combat job to a gatherer job, and then that gets even more complicated if I were to also want synchronized crafter options. That also doesn't address me having unique stuff on tabs that are used for WXHB options that I still want to show up differently for combat jobs, and I don't want to have to manually turn on or off certain shared hotbar settings after I switch to another job either. The game's current options for shared hotbars are limited; they're not the same as this thread's requested quality-of-life option.
