My biggest hope is that it's more gameplay and in-game footage than CG marbols.

Also, really hope it marks the release of a benchmark. I watched th v1 benchmark so many times just to see different races go through.

I could get into that if male miqo'te are in it. I would like to see the demo versions on the expo floor with playable male miqo'te and the other newly playable genders.

Same here, why does it have to be a trade only expo? Hmmm SE do forum comps, how about grand prize tickets to E3 to tell people how uber FFXIV has got? I would do it

No, because its a closed beta test which means only those who have active FFXIV accounts will be able to play it, and since it'll be on the same servers using the same account it'll be free.

I expect this to be shown behind closed doors for the press. We'll see plenty of stuff in articles and we'll see some trailers, but I doubt it'll be shown on stage during a televised press conference.

They are using E3 to promote the game, they need to get everything they show out, not just the press who can say anything, I would expect something like "Square Enix admits FFXIV total failure, can we trust their "remake"??? No we can't" all we saw was a CGI trailer. We have seen how some websites already troll any good news regarding FFXIV, I don't think this sort of thing would be too unrealistic.

But if SE is on stage they can promote it how they want to the gamers.
