You've never heard of "Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy"? They've been doing concerts for years.

Besides CGI cut scenes, it would be great if they show some gameplay running on the 2.0 client, and some large scale battles to show of combat as well.

Any source for that? All I've seen them say is "2.0 trailer" not "2.0 Opening Cinematic."

E3 is their moment to have the world's attention to prove 2.0 will have turned XIV around. A CGI-only trailer will be met with a resounding "so what?"

my guess is they'll put a CG video of the events that are going to reshape the world, then since they have to promote the game to convince the future costumer that this is not anymore the fail launch game, SE has to flood the E3 with awesome ingame content, new class and more. Just my guess :P

Is beta Really in a couple Months? Well.. considering PC version of 2.0 gets released in September-October I feel they will start Beta in July. Just a guess.

September - October IS the Beta, The re-release isn't untill Dec 2012 - March 2013.

All there doing in September is releasing the 2.0 Client software to allow everyone time to install it before the beta goes up.
