    Bard Endwalker - Some changes I came up with and wish they would do

    I've been a Bard main since 1.0 and I've relatively been okay with all the changes that have been thrown at class even losing Foe's Requiem, Flame Arrow, Hawk's Eye and Wide Volley. But with this recent media tour I feel like we're getting the short end of the stick.

    With the songs having a 120 sec cooldown it's a bit much. I feel like there should've been some upgrades added to balance out the support for the class.

    Enhanced Bloodletter at Lv 74 instead of 84

    Enhanced Iron Jaws at 82 along Quick Nock Mastery (trait)
    - increases potency to 120, spreads contagion effect (singular DoT) to surrounding enemies if the target is under the effect of caustic bite and stormbite, 35 potency for 30 secs

    Minstrel's Marcato at 84 (trait)
    - upgrades Mage's Ballad to Mage's Sonata, Army's Paeon to Army's Crescendo, The Wanderer's Minuet to The Wanderer's Adagio, Battle Voice to Battle Resonance
    ---Mage's Sonata: potency increase to 120, party damage dealt increase to 3%, 40% chance to grant Repertoire when damage over time is dealt by Caustic Bite or Stormbite Repertoire Effect: reset the caster timer for bloodletter and rain of death, increase party's max HP by 10%
    ---Army's Crescendo: potency increase to 120, increase party's direct hit rate by 5%, 40% chance to grant Repertoire when damage over time is dealt by Caustic Bite or Stormbite Repertoire Effect: reduces weaponskill cast, recast time and auto attack by 4% stacked up to 4 times, grants haste to the party
    ---The Wanderer's Adagio: potency increase to 120, increase party's critical hit rate by 4%, 40% chance to grant Repertoire when damage over time is dealt by Caustic Bite or Stormbite Repertoire Effect: Allows execution of Pitch Perfect, increases target damage taken by 3%
    ---Battle Resonance: Increases direct hit rate of all nearby party members by 20% and critical hit rate by 10% for 30 secs

    Radiant Finale the duration should be 20 secs instead of 15 secs and at 3 codas it would be better to be 6% damage instead of 5%

    SCH mains would like to talk to you, lol. Like seriously we still have issues with one of our 3.0 skills and its still not being adjusted. Cries in faerie, T.T

    On the topic at hand, I agree that the Bloodletting charges should come earlier. And since the tics are more frequent now, maybe up them to 3. Maybe start at 2 and upgrade to 3 at 74, similar to MCH.

    As for the songs, I think an increase in initial potency would be good, especially since the rotation is now longer. But, the benefits shouldn't increase, otherwise Bards would become mandatory and/or too strong. A flat 1% damage, 2% crit, and 3% direct hit increase for 7 people is pretty strong, even if it's not constant.

    I’ve given my opinions on Bard Bane for ages and still don’t care about it nor don’t understand that it’s so highly requested ontop of other pressing matters I’d rather get instead.

    Also short end? BRD compared to its special cousins got some nice tools. All of DNC cool abilities are all restricted as hell to buffs, further cementing the job as “automatic” with thunderous applause, MCH got jack shit but yet another GCD. I digress tho

    Bloodletter should 110% be earlier I even think 74 is too late still, BRD suffers a lot from “late bloomer syndrome” similar to BLM. And all could be fixed if they give the QoL crap it got in SB, SHB and EW several levels earlier than when they debuted as ARR BRD is very very slow and very very bland lacking both minute and EA procs.

    I’m very numb to numbers as the songs would generally play the same, that’s the thing forums ignore. They drool on numbers and visuals but if the job plays the same as before or worse it should be talked about. And the songs beefed up potencies should be a naturally given, the buffs are abit OP and would just make BRD too good. And all in all they just don’t change much about the kit

    This right here would make BRD absolutely hated in parties. Yeah, Haste is a damage buff, no argument there, but people shoot for specific Skill/Spell Speeds and someone coming in and screwing with that tends to piss people off. Imagine being a GNB and having your Gnashing Fang combo drift, or a MCH and having Drill drift. Messing with another players GCDs would not go down well, and there's a reason why SE removed party Haste effects.

    Anyways, as for the rest:
    • Enhanced Bloodletter can be 74, sure, why not. But only if that Enhanced Bloodletter bumps the amount of charges up to three. Two charges of Bloodletter should be stock, and BRD having to wait multiple expacs to get basic QoL changes is bullshit.
    • BRD Bane doesn't matter, especially since DoT duration got bumped up to 45s. DoT as you go, it's fine. Spreading a Contagion DoT would leave the BRD drowning in even more Repertoire procs. Honestly, it'd be downright excessive, especially since BRD is already one of the strongest Jobs in AoE scenarios.
    • Increasing Max HP could probably annoy Healers during party wide Doom scenarios. It was rare, but I remember the Troubadour meme posts during O4S with White Hole.
    • Battle Resonance is absolutely busted. Devilment lasts for 20s and provides a 20% increase to Direct Hit and Crit for the DNC and their Dance Partner. That's it, 20s buff to two people only. And yet you're suggesting a buff that lasts for 50% longer and buffs seven people total. That kinda damage buff would be hilariously imbalanced.
