2.0 is supposed to add the ability to craft in your Inn room, so they may be adding this feature at 2.o as well. I agree it would be an awesome bonus and would also help with the lag caused by tons of ppl crowding around the retainer bell outside the Inns.

you wont be able to craft in your inn, you ll be able to craft in your housing. 2 separate things. They will never allow crafting in an inn room cause you are getting rested bonus while you are there.
