    I completely agree, most of the people saying just use throwing dagger LOL probably aren't ninja mains. I don't understand how people can complain about assassinate's animation lock (which I was fine with) but be completely OK with raijus. My major gripe is that they turned ninja into yet another fell cleave spamming job.

    When i first seen these abilities during the class showcase I thought one would be a gap closer and the other a gap opener, which I thought was pretty cool. But the reality is 2 back to back gap closers that you lose if you use any other weaponskill seems pointless. What is the point of having multiple charges without a reason to close the gap. Sure you can use Shukuchi to make a gap but as a controller player that is super awkward (maybe if there was a macro to make Shukuchi a gap opener like there is to make it a gap closer would make this better). I think the simple fix for this is make it to where using a weaponskill doesn't remove your charges. I would go one further and make it to where using ninjutsu doesn't activate its GCD, that way you can use it immediately after using Raiton. As is you can almost run to the target after catting Raiton before you can even use Forked

    Yea, I agree with most on the issue with Raiju. If the restriction of "can't use other weapon skills" was taken away, it would most definitely fix the issue for me. I couldn't wait to get to 90 to get the new skill to sadly only feeling disappointed once I did. I had so much high hopes for the new skills. As it stands, I feel it almost single handedly sucked the life out of my favorite class and made it less fun to play for me. I'm probably going to shelve Ninja and play Reaper till hopefully this is addressed. Please fix this :-(

    My Idea to Fix Raiju

    My Story first:
    I beat Patch Day Vishap as NIN and faced multiple challenges as Ninja aswell, I loved the NIN Rework in Shadowbringers because everything lined up so well and my first impression of Endwalker's NIN was Gasp and Shock THEY REMOVED SHADOWFANG! and what is Huraijin!?

    My Leveling Experience:
    I lvled NIN with my Trusts and after a slow start, adjusting to Shadowfangless Ninja I come to grow to come to terms with it and even saw the positives like that I don't need to use Macros for my OCDs anymore because of my Controller playstyle. Now Dream within a Dream is where Shadowfang was before and I'd say NIN is playable but Raiju is a Problem!

    I have multiple Problems with Raiju:
    1. GCD Double Tap Gap Closer even though Shukuchi still exists with it's Raiton reset trait
    2. Raiton proc requirement with a 15sec duration and it's easy to lose those procs
    3. as a Result of Point 1 & 2 Raiju is heavily restricting and plays against the general design of NIN Playstyle (in my opinion)

    My Idea to Fix Raiju:
    Let the Phantom-Kamaitachi perform Raiju instead of the Player outside of Bunshin,
    imagine it like this:
    NIN does Raiton, gets Raiju proc, presses the Phantom-Kamaitachi button and the Phantom performs both Raiju Skills.
    That way the NIN doesn't get restricted mobility like Raiju does now and to be frank, when I saw Raiju in the Job Action Trailer I thought to myself just why?^^ it's sad that this lvl90 skill causes so many problems

    I think the removal of Shadowfang was a decent choice, it was kind of awkward in the NIN rotation and mostly just fluff dmg. If anything, NIN should get more multi-hit skills like Dream within a Dream (that also come to some degree, with animationlocks to increase Skillcap, but thats just my take on it) for the oldschool feel of Final Fantasy Ninjas.

    Also, Which genius thought changing assassinate into this current mess was a good idea? If anything, NIN should get more ways to interact with ShB assassinate, not multiple ways to reapply freaking Huton. Applying it with Ninjutsus, Ten Chi Jin or Kassatsu (but dont tell anyone i ever said this) are more than enough ways to reapply it and keeping it up with Armor Crush was more than sufficient.

    Also, the Shukiho III Trait is literally just a filler Ability, cmon Squeenix, you can do better than that.

    well for me I timed Shadowfang with Trickattack, like I saw that Shadowfang was Up Okay Trickattack Time
    and yes Shukiho III is quite a waste I'd rather have it that my Toad triggers Hollow instead ^^

    This is my first expansión lanuch and i was wondering how soon do they do job balance updates typically? Mainly, because I dont want to waste my raid/extreme gear tokens/coffers on ninja now if it's gonna stay this way for a while before things are addressed. For me specifically hopefully taking the lost of Raiju using weapon skills away.

    The first balance patch should be on Tuesday when Savage is released.

    But that's the thing... old Shadowfang should always be timed with trick attack due to the cooldown it had. Once you learn this, it becomes braindead as in just yet another button to push during the TA window. There's no room for thought there and Shadowfang didn't interact with anything else. If it was just a frontload damage action it would be the same.

    Generally, a dot's defining gameplay is around the caveat of having to babysit them, procure the right timings to refresh and maybe mind snapshotting them to smaller buff windows. If a dot has a duration of 60s and a recast timer of 60s it becomes pointless as a dot, especially if your job is equipped with a 60s window buff.
