Main Quest can't be Completed at all.

Basically I did everything I needed to, for my quest. Gave the NPC all the items, watched the cutscene, it even showed that the quest is done. Cutscene ends and he still has that "Quest complete" Symbol above his head. Now he STILL wants those items, which I can't give him since he kinda already got em from me, but I can't accept a new Quest nor can I cancel the current one, because its a main story Quest. I'm sorry if I send this here, but when I choose something else, it goes to the GM's of the game which can't help me either.
The Quest name is "Three for Three". I checked that there are no emotes or anything that I'd need to use. I checked if I still have the items in the Inventory which I don't. Also checked for graphic bug and looked up the next NPC, but that does not work either.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, I tried to get an answer from the Support which goes to the GM, they said I should try here. I don't get forums and this is the first time I'm ever using one myself. If I gotta post this somewhere else here, please tell me where and how I get there.

We advise checking with your fellow players in game or researching many of the online resources such as the Lodestone forum posts for any information regarding the main scenario you are having trouble with.
