What the heck is this
What the heck is this

Yeah I won't lie, a week ago when stuff leaked I was setting up hotkeys in advance. It didn't take me long to determine what my lustrate, excog, indom, sacred soil, etc buttons were for Sage. I am willing to giver it a try but I'm not expecting it to be a revelation of an experience. Shadowbringers already put me out of a main job so I became multipurpose. My willingness to play Sage stems more from "the grass isn't necessarily greener on the other side, I'm just hoping the grass isn't dead". Expectations kept low.
That and addersting feels very... oh what's the word for it. Only works for one button but is apparently just there for a movement mechanic?
Sage having a dash makes it best healer by default………… it’s cool to have and it’s easy mobility and with the endwalker cast time you can wave and lose no up time if you are to lazy to slide cast.
In fairness, these forums are roughly the opposite - endless complaining about any change or any lack of change. As most of the posts are the role forums are some version of "this was better back when the game was less successful."
Reddit and these forums are both self-selecting minorities of players.
Healers are extremely similar to one another. News at 11.
I've got to admit, I absolutely hate Art of War, so seeing that sage has a copy-paste of it is a big hit to my excitement for the job. A line or cone aoe would've indeed been much better [they technically do though, Phlegma III, but stiiiiiill...]

Though I do tire of these forums sometimes too, I still prefer a place where you can express any opinion and - if you do so constructively, you can receive constructive discussion in turn - over a place that downvotes any contrary opinions to oblivion. In fairness, these forums are roughly the opposite - endless complaining about any change or any lack of change. Toxikon II is essentially a mini Afflatus Misery. You use a GCD to get an instant GCD that "refunds" DPS for movement.
Like Misery it is a DPS loss if used as a substitute for the basic nuke.
