Bumping this for more attention, since Yoshi-P did recently ask for us to report latency related issues in high detail. This one is documented in extreme detail. I hope it is on their radar and in consideration for a future fix.

Ah, nice! In light of that, I'm going to try re-sending my followup to the bug report (see page 11 of this thread) through the support desk. Maybe, that'll help it get a smidge more momentum. Can't hurt, at any rate.
