just surrender to lord alexander like every other SA player did

This issue has been really egregious for a long time, and each update that goes by without it getting addressed stings a bit.
I've dropped Machinist completely as a result, but few jobs are completely immune to the issue on high enough ping - at the high end, nearly every job has to do lot of double weaving in the opener and burst window. Animation lock being in *any* way ping-dependent presents a large and far-reaching problem.
As this thread is sitting in the General Discussion board, I've taken a moment to try and summarize the issue in the Bug Reports subforum (Link). Please let me know if I've missed anything important, or gotten anything wrong.

Bump. MCH still not fixed.

Bump. SA player experience is both awful and frustrating without XIVAlexander.

I read some Brazilians here complaining about our problem on this subject. I'm just adding to the chorus...
Without using a 3rd party tunneling program I get about 250ms on NA servers and about 230ms on EU servers. Using this program, I get something close to 175ms on NAs and 145ms on EU.
So to play my favorite job (machinist) I feel forced to play on EU servers and paying more than the regular subscription for a tunneling service. (And yet, without being able to take advantage of the job's full potential).
in Brazil, right now, we are struggling with the economic crisis and everything is very expensive (I won't delve into politics, don't worry). But in overall, try to see why many of us Brazilians are looking forward to having South American servers which, by the way, could help all the other Latin countries around us here too...
I hope that one day they solve this big problem and I don't care what they will do to solve it, whether by creating a SA DC or by reducing the animation lock. I really don't care which method they use... as long as they use it!

Bumping this thread as it needs to be seen by the devs. MCH ping related issues are still there.

This thread is even more relevant after today's post by Yoshi-P. Players use third party tools like XIV Alexander and NoClippy because the game does really weird shit, as outlined in the original post and this post a bit later on page 1. SE needs to start caring about ping issues and how the game's netcode behaves otherwise people will keep using those third party tools.
They moved this post (https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...unintended-way) to accepted bugs, so perhaps it'll finally be addressed?

Oh, so they did! I'm really glad to see that, since the one I linked earlier got moved to "Insufficient Information" because I didn't follow the template closely enough (I think?)
Fingers crossed!
