Divination not requiring seal is nice, kinda annoying to loose it whenever you die. And on the same line of thought, astrodyne is nice when you just died !

I really do not care about astrodyne 3 seals buffs, the 10% SS is nice but 5% over 15s... So 6 GCD? Maybe 7 with the speed buff + some ss...

On a what? 250 potency ? (They changed them I can't recall the new one) so about 12.5 potency per hit... Not even 100 potency every 90s... People are loosing their shit for about 100 potency every 90s...

So for those very very rare people that can and aim for 99~100% parse fine, I understand your annoyance. It's hard to hit 100% when your job has that + minor. It can effectively ruin your run.

But for some reason I'm pretty sure that if I start to do some research on everyone's who's whinning about the DPS randomness of Lord and astrodyne, Id end up with maybe 1 person above 95%.

Like people have been complaining since the release of that job a d it's getting really old...

The card system can't satisfy everyone and it will never do.

They're just balance now, yes, because it's only ever been about that God damn card. Even the minmax discord is named on that card!
What do you want them to do ? Bring back the first system?

People freak out over 100 potency every 90s and yet they want to bring back the randomness of aoe balance of SB?
Like the randomness that was so intense that you could have a run with effectively 0 aoe balance or up to 5?

Some do complain about the lost alternative effects, sure... Let me give a bole.. what will you do? Ah yes.. redraw for a balance. (Spear was fine tho)

So what could be done? Dual buff?
Balance + one utility ... Sure ... But will you ever pick a tank/heal for that added utility ?
Yes like that would prevent 99.9% of the AST to give all the cards to the DPS.
IMHO I feel like they were closer to the mark in SB.

Draw The Bole, I don't need the Bole
I Royal Road The Bole
Draw The Bole again, I don't need it
Redraw and get The Ewer, I don't need it

And then there's only 1 change they needed to put here (which they did in ShB)
Minor Arcana The Ewer and use it as a damage buff (but cannot be Royal Roaded)

Your fail scenario would effectively a slightly worst version of The Balance.
I tended to use The Balance, The Arrow and The Spear for their base benefits
I tended to use The Ewer, The Bole and The Spire for their Royal Road benefits
Anything that I don't use? Minor Arcana for a lesser but still useful effect

Heck with the loss of TP and if they wanted to simplify things, restrict The Balance, The Arrow and The Spear for "Play" and The Ewer, The Bole and The Spire for "Royal Road" (maybe "Play" becomes "Royal Road" in this scenario)
