am i the only one who thinks thunderclap should just be directional dash like dancer or ground target? maybe i dont play magic classes that use manipulation enough to see the value in dashing to someone, like if im trying to get out of an aoe im just gonna turn
my camera and get out not look for stuff to dash to. perhaps there may be a reason but for now thats a hang up for me.

As someone that has died with every form of disengage (except SAMs) in the game, I think Teleportation has killed me the least amount of times and I play on controller where targeting a party member is a hassle.

On this subject as a controller player im also a little concerned about quickly targeting and party member to make the most of this escape, I have heard there are macro's to help target another player then use a skill, I have never really used macros so don't know much about them, would you have any tips or info thanks

I typically have 3 macro set ups for Aetherial Manipulation that would work for Thunderclap

    macroicon "Aetherial Manipulation"
    /merror
    /ac "Aetherial Manipulation" <#>
    /ac "Aetherial Manipulation <t>

The # represents the party member I am attempting to teleport to and in my party list, 2 is for Tank, 4 is Healer and 6 is a DPS. It's obviously not without its flaws ofc, since if that party member is dead or out of range than I'm pretty much stuck trying to do it the hard way of scrolling but it helps.

Controller Black Mage player here too and this is what I do as well. I keep one primarily on my main cross bar that is set to position 3 of the party list for all dungeons as that typically will always lead to the healer, and then for raiding I have a literally copy of that cross bar I swap to where the macro is set to position 4 (the healer who I'm paired with for all mechanics on my static). Makes it easier and pretty simple overall. You will sometimes need to spam it to make sure it goes off but even then it's much faster then trying to down click through the party list via the dpad.

So Chakra is our main ogcd now since they've moved other ogcds to Blitz.
I'm afraid the downtime when PB is on CD might be a bit boring but at least it's only 30 sec or less.
So far its not so bad for the tool tips.
I'm not gonna say anything about Anatman at this point, Its just a big waste of time.
I wonder about Thunderclap though, Can it be used only when Target ally or mob OR can be used even without target anything ?

I think you might be among the outliers there.

Yaten, for all its intuitiveness, has been a comparatively low-capacity disengage. It's short-range, a bit slow to trigger, and has so far in no way reduced the need to get in a final AA and GCD of attack, especially since its potency recovery is so tied up in Enpi which has thus far broken existing combos. Its only major benefit, its short CD, is almost never practically leverageable, either.

Elusive Jump, for instance, is perhaps the hardest to "aim", but it's also swift and significant.

Short of finally getting a queuable target scan function tied to our targeted skills to help out controllers and M&KB users finally being allowed proper mouseover schema, it seems unlikely to be as useful as either end of disengage skills, at least to a Monk.

Single target will be slower when BH is not in use but not significantly, I am kinda worried about overcap, I already get a load of FC uses during BH windows now, with 100% chakra rate on weaponskill/spell it's going to be messy without two stacks of 5.
Perfect balance having more uptime will make up for the loss of oGCD's I reckon & during dungeon content we will be able to work on getting Phantom Rush before we get to bosses - It's raids where I worry - long pre-pulls or missing party buffs on your biggest attacks.

Thunderclap is a targeted Dash so party member or enemy need to be targeted/mouseover macro'd.

To be honest, I'm not gonna worry about pre-pull timer. It is what it is and I don't want everyone wait for 30 sec timer for each pull.
I'm more worry about the flow of the job. That's why I mentioned downtime when BH and PB are on CDs.

This blitz system is more engaging than SAM's Meikyo but SAM has other stuffs to play with even when Meikyo is on CD while we have only Forbidden Chakra, Riddle of Wind and SSS.... on wait Anatman too.
