    if it's a 2.14 gcd like we have now, and most raid buffs start at 3rd gcd first midare and tsubame would be first so in raid buffs it would look like this probably
    0: midare
    2.14: tsubame > kaiten
    4.28: ogi
    6.42:namakiri
    7.42:hakaze
    9.56:yukikaze
    11.70: higibana > meikyo
    13.84: kasha
    15.98:gekko
    18.12:yukki
    20.26:midare
    22.40:tsubame
    it could go like this or it could be midare before higibana and would be the same, if ogi doesn't take meikyo stacks that would that would probably be the best place to use it.
    so it would be like
    0: midare
    2.14: tsubame > kaiten
    4.28: ogi >meikyo
    6.42:namakiri
    7.42: kasha
    9.56: gekko

    so meme sks sam might come back to fit everything in that 20 sec. Also might mean sam might have a mega 2 min burst instead of the one min mini burst and 2 min burst, which is something I would not like.

    So overall do you guys think 6.0 changes will make samurai smoother or worse? I've been reading all the posts and info and can't really tell. Shb opener could use some work but overall the class feels good outside of some mechanics requiring a reset.

    Let's see:
    Stormblood - the numbers of GCD and OGCD we have to press are ideally balance, not too bloat, not too less.This is why SAM's gameplay in SB was good.
    Shadowbringers - A lot of OGCD added that almost feel bloat but that's not the problem.The problem is Tsubame-line-up. It's strictness is kinda opposing of SAM's fluid gameplay, so as a result, it makes the job less flexibility.
    The Bad part is since Tsubame is highest damage GCD we've gotl, we have to adjust everthing around it and that make the job, as a whole, even less fluid.
    To be honest, if you don't do savage, you don't have to do Tsubame-line-up but don't be surprised if you can't beat skilled MCH's dps, let alone BLM.
    Hell, you probably lose to skilled DRG's dps.

    In Endwalker, they remove seigan and no meditation stacks from Tsubame any more so less shoha to press but add Tsubame a charge instead and that makes the line-up problem gone for good.
    we have more GCD to press from Oni Nigiri-something but that's 2 mins CD so it 's not really a part of the core rotation.

    Now to answer your question, For me, Endwalker SAM will be more smooth to play than ShB for sure but will it be as good as SB ?
    To answer that we have to play the job in various contents before making a decision.
    But one thing for sure, SAM ain't evolved in this expansion.

    why couldn't they just get rid of Third eye seriously? This is THE skill i wish they would delete, it adds nothing to sam's gameplay. Worse, the new one will encourage people to stand in AOEs.
    People currently dont stand in AOEs for Seigan because, well, most people have no idea that it is a bit better than shinten, but with the new third eye, they'll see the 10 kenki gain and that will motivate them to stand in AOEs...
    Truly this is the one thing that made me facepalm about the new sam. Why SE???

    I like the doom counter more, personally. I really hope they keep that one going forward in the other raids. Two for normal. One in savage, or none depending on the mechanic.

    3rd eye rules, it's one of the coolest skills that sam has. It's the closest rendition you can get to a parry in an MMO and I am looking forward to getting more kenki now. If it makes you feel better though, I'm not planning to start chilling out in avoidable aoe's any time soon.
