I's say the only use is for OCD capping them all.
I never saw any real difference between hi/low desnth for rarity, quantity or quality (and the last one is dead anyway)

My CUL desyn spontaneously maxed when I was going after 500K Skyward Pts for my Fisher in Diadem... The fish from there cannot be sold or used for anything, and so the only way to use them is to desyn...

I personally like to level them up as much as possible; it feels like that pays off too once I start getting expensive crafting items from desynthesizing trial weapons more often.

Wait... can we level all DoH Desynth to max now? I thought it had a limit for how much you could do and we had to split it between ones we wanted... Am I wrong? Have I been wasting items this whole time?!?!
