Blue Mage is Destroying the fates fun

The event is been destroyed by the Blue Mages that literally one hit all the fate bosses, this is very obstructive game play where new players and must of the community are excluded because while you are sync and dismounting the fate was already done. Please limit the class.

So your suggestion is to be part of the problem and make new player feel bad because is going to be hard for them compete. I understand your point never the less, it is just about today s game mindset .

It's a problem that solves itself. This event will be active for months. The faster the BLUs get done with it, the faster they move on. What we're seeing now is just the typical new event rush. Look at every event, or any new content, day 1 or week 1, and it's chaos. It's chaos because everyone wants to rush to get it done. And when it's done, they sit around bored with nothing to do (hyperbole).

Like any other content or event, you can choose to be part of the chaos, or you can have some patience and come back to it later. When you're not in a rush, most of these problems rarely remain problems for long.

I just joined FF14 this past year, so there's still a lot I don't know yet, but I'm trying to understand Hasrat's logic here. I've been experiencing first hand the extreme difficulty of doing the fates, especially in low level areas, during this Yo-Kai event. I've enjoyed the different in-game events I've participated in, so far, but this one not so much. The inconsiderate behaviour of the blue mages at every fate I've tried has soured my outlook considerably. It seems uncomfortably close to a griefing situation.

From what I understand about this event, you have to actually be able to participate in the fate by hitting the target at least once, which blue mages are preventing almost everyone else from doing. Unless there is some special blue mage affinity that I'm unaware of (like I said, still a lot for me to learn in the game), doesn't the blue mage making the insta-kill on the fate boss also prevent all the other blue mages from getting credit for it along with everyone else? Hasrat's suggestion to just wait out the rush doesn't seem logical as this whole thing with the blue mages seems likely to just go on and on. Are we to wait then, until every blue mage finally gets their turn at one-shotting the fates. I also can't believe that there aren't any blue mages waiting in the wings for the initial rush to be over, so we'll have those to deal with too. Is this fun for anyone at all, except the blue mages gleefully popping off the fates before everyone else can dismount and sync?

This morning there was like only 1 blue mage, right not there are like 5 at the same time, i even could sympathize with them if at least they'd be communicative and let people know to what fate they are heading or even wait at least several second to wait everybody be there, but no, right know is just griefing and seems to be ok. What should have been a community even have turn into a griefing event.
I have even visited other world server to make sure it was not an issue in my server, but no, everything is the same.

Day1 rush has nothing to do with BLU. Don't excuse BLU with Day1 rush.

There will always be BLUs around
Selfish ones day1. They'll order you to wait for your turn. Or play BLU.
Selfish ones later. They will tell you you had the time.

The only BLUs respectful to others will be the one not playing BLU if non-teammates are on the target too.

The logic is partly facetious, but will still hold true. No event ever maintains this level of chaos, and few events ever last for so long. Additionally, there is yet more content to be released in the 5.3x cycle that will further occupy players and pull them away. This event isn't even a new one, and a multitude of players, at best, only need to run it again for the few new weapons introduced.

Many little facts combine to a point that works in favor of just having patience. After a few weeks, the chaos will die down. This can be said with a certainty, as, again, this isn't a new event, so we've seen this exact pattern before.

More, the complaint that "BLUs are one-shotting FATEs" simply doesn't hold true for the great majority. There's only so many one-mob FATEs (and a few of those are immune to the death/doom as is). BLUs can't single-handedly end a multi-target FATE in the span of seconds. They're still quite adept at handling those FATEs, but, the greater problem remains the zerg rush right now, which, again, will die down. Will you continue to see BLUs running FATEs for the event into the future? Sure, probably. But without the group rush, it will only get easier to join in on the participation.

Boss FATEs are only a small subset of available FATEs. BLUs can absolutely dominate most of them, yes. So, logically if you want to avoid that headache, just pick a different FATE. Know where things spawn, throw your own AoEs into the mix.

But expect some level of disappointment no matter what until the rush dies down. That's just part of the chaos of doing massive open world group content.
