    Nitpick regarding combust

    So I have an extremely niche problem with ast's combust.

    If you have a black mage in the party and you're at a high enough level for said blm to have thunder4, the debuff icons for that and combust are way too similar.

    Look at almost any other debuff or dot that a player can give an enemy and every single one of them are completely distinct even at a glance. But combust and thunder4 are nearly the exact same color, and during hectic situations, one can very easily be mistaken for the other. And while yes the text under your debuff is green, again in the heat of battle it's not the easiest to see at a glance.

    If either attack's debuff icon could be very slightly tweaked in color, it would be perfect.

    There's a "hide debuffs from other players" toggle partly for that reason.

    Though I feel like they ought to expand on that and further specify it into "hide irrelevant debuffs from other players" so you can still see things like Trick Attack and Chain Strategem that actually matter.

    Are you sure you're not thinking of Thunder III ?



    I've mixed up Dia/Combust a fair amount before, but never really for a Thunder IV. Enlarging the Buff/Debuff part of the HUD by 10% or so might help a bit too !

    One of the addons I miss most from wow would make my own buff/debuffs larger (double height and width so it occupies both rows) when targeting something. There could be 20+ debuffs on an enemy and I'd always know which were mine at a glance because they were so much bigger than the rest. It'd be great if SE would implement something similar.

    BLM can only inflict one thunder DoT at a time, whether it's by using Thunder III or Thunder IV, both inflict one exclusive debuff, and the icon looks like this:

    If this is your problem then imagine being a Scholar with the exact same Dot as SMN in most content. Double Identical Healer comps make this situation apply too. Instead of green numbers I think our Dots and debuffs should have a green outline with green numbers. It would be more distinct even if the same job was present.
