Looking for Roleplayers

Some of you might know I'm a hardcore roleplayer. Everything must have some reason for my char.
So how many roleplayers are there around here?
What's the story behind your char, and do you have any plans for your chars personal story.
Are you maybe one of the few that do a good job roleplaying as the Warrior of light, or have you, as my choice, a less glorious path.
I have three chars, all of them have a personal story that I will tell you to hear in a condensed way; I don't want to reveal all my secrets; after all, it is ongoing, and if you are a roleplayer, then I would love to meet your char in-game, and we can get to know each other in character (IC).
So let's start with my main char who started of as a pore man with a wooden bow and food on his table mainly because he is a hunter and all the clothes he used to have were made by himself.
One day he witnessed a murder where a male and a female were killed right in front of their infant kid; those two characters are also mine, meet Ahtmahs Bloelaksyn and the infant Nora Feuillelains.
For some reason, Ahtmahs left Nora there that I will not tell you here maybe it was because Ahtmahs thought she would die anyways or maybe for some other reason.
But in the end, H'rinah Tia, even though how pore he was, decided to help this kid who by now is 15 years old and training to become a Thaumaturge.
But H'rinah has not forgotten about the deed that day and has sworn to end this murderer when he can prove to the flames that one of their sergeants is a murderer.
At this time, H'rinah accepted a job for Consolidated shipping and metrics mostly because they offered him payment and an apartment for him and his adopted daughter Nora.
But in the end, not everything was sunshine and roses, especially not when Ahtmahs also came there to look for work.

Typically in my mind, the story of my character goes somewhat like this. Its not much of an extensive background as yours, but I haven't thought that much into it just yet as the idea of Roleplay only became of interest to me as of yesterday actually.

A wondering Viera who had not long left Eruyt village, the reason? In hopes of adventure and life outside of the safety of the wood. With a bow and arrow in hand and being shunned by the Viera clan, Sherlotta hesitantly left the wood's embrace; never to return.

Typically cautious of the humes and the other races due to the unfamiliarity of anyone outside of the Viera clan. Sherlotta can be considered somewhat unapproachable because of her cold, distant personality. Sherlotta is cynical and generally world-weary, she is often going through phases of regret of leaving the wood and missing her sisters.

The journey of self-discovery and adventure is still on going and has progressed beyond the world of Ivalice all the way to Eorzea. While Sherlotta is fine essentially being a 'loner' she often retains a shred of hope that one day she may find her tribe and a place to belong.

For someone that just started to RP, I would say that's an excellent start. It gives a lot of openings for future dev. and it reminds me of how I started my first RP char in wow, a night elf who had a human name that I built up a story behind, and in the end, I had over 500 years of history behind that char.
My advice to you is to go slowly and think of what you really want for your char before committing. There is nothing wrong with saying I do not remember if you're unsure of something or the base lore of the game.

Not really I'm even a part of an RP FC but I just wanted to start a conversation here and maybe help some people and maybe get some good advice myself.

Ferra is currently benched while I decide what I want to do with her story: Kinda ran into a wall narratively so I'm playing another character: Aigiarn Dalamic, Xaela Summoner.

She plays as a villain with her ultimate goal being to collect enough aether to summon something so powerful that she can stroll back to the Steppes, take part in the Naadam, and crush any and all opposition as revenge for being insulted and almost sold off to slavery in her younger years due to her weakness. Utilizing Energy Drain and crystals she opts for the faster method of ripping aether from adventurers that she tries to isolate by any means, be it regaling them with historic tales, charming them with a false smile, or stabbing them in the back with a bladed grimoire for this express purpose.

There's a full history and everything but always feel that's better discovered in RP. Either way it's been a blast playing her and trying to sneakily rip aether from poor folks. I am fully planning on killing her off eventually through a grand event, maybe her being successful in her goal and her and whatever she summoned can be killed off in a premade RP event with a group. I did get my free Fanta just in case things go south early, though.

If you see her slinking around in Ul'dah or the Quicksand she's often looking for villains, but she's usually open for conversation as well. If you see her with the RP tag feel free to approach if you like!
