You seem to be a fan of wrestling with RNG to get what you want, and grasping a desired outcome from the jaws of a low % chance.
No shame.
Though, I am curious if/how you would extend this attitude to the issues discussed in this other RNG centric thread:

Not a huge fan of this content to begin with so i wont bother doing it, that being said some people are really happy to have all those and the rng makes it special to them, they know that it's really rare so when it's done they got a feeling of accomplishment which is also the point of rng.
Not everyone will get it, life's unfair.
Because you want something doesn't mean you'll get it and yeah i do love to fight rng when it's really motivating hence the BiS gear.
I do get that rng is frustrating as i said earlier doing all those runs weren't fun at all for me, but hey if that's the price to have this sweet 0.1 % bonus i will gladly fight for it, even if that's a pointless fight.
And i got used to way worse than this over the gaming years in mmos worlds, so ppl being mad at FF XIV for this kind of grind just seems silly to me.

Hahaha yeah.
I've def done WAY worse than this too.
People don't know grind until they try and farm gold Borgs in Gotcha Force. Nothing else I've done has ever come remotely close to that. In well over 1,000 hours of playtime I've only gotten 2.

I can pick up what you're putting down.
Rarity and prestige are valid things to maintain in an MMO and I can totally see where you're coming from.
But considering how easy the dungeons are... I don't feel a sense of accomplishment for RNG eventually just giving it to me, so i feel the potential level of grind doesn't quite match the reward and thus suggested for this to be adjusted.

I respect that you feel differently.
