PSA: You can get all or most of the stuff you want from the Nier raids

Was running an alt through these alliance raids and was able to get pretty much all the costumes, orchestrion rolls, minions and hairstyles that dropped because everyone has them now.

So, if you don’t like raiding but maybe you always wanted that 2B glamour or some of those cool pets that drop, now’s a good time to get in there and grab ‘em. You can even get some of the gear that drops if you want them for glamour pieces.

Everyone is also wildly overgeared for these encounters so the fights aren’t that tough. Take it from me, someone who greatly dislikes raiding. Anyway, just thought I would share for anyone out there that might not have done these or were maybe too nervous to do them.

Wildly overgeared but asleep at the wheel fairly often. If I had a nickel for every time I've seen wipes to add phases on Copied Factory, people getting lasered to death in Puppet's Bunker, and tanks not separating Hansel and Gretel repeatedly, I'd have a distressingly large amount of nickels.

The fights weren't tough even when it came out honestly, even if you die 10 times it's still very unlikely you'll wipe. Don't ever be scared of a 24 man in this game, basically. Even calling them raids is very generous.

I have to admit this was actually a huge issue. Even I kept calling that out and I'm a filthy casual.

Admittedly I've been heavily delving into the Return to Ivalice raids because not only am I a huge fan (Tactics being my #1 favorite game of all time), but I also enjoy the raids AND really want the minions, lol. But OMG everyone always seems to be rolling for those damn things, and the RNG on the number rolls is ridiculous. Thankfully I enjoy the raids in general, but man, it gets old after 2 dozen+ runs to still not get anything because the odds are seemingly always stacked against me.

Pretty much. Sometimes all it takes are 8-10 players who knows what they're doing to get through the whole raid. The rest can be doing whatever they want and still get the same reward as those 8-10 players.

The only things I still need are the 9S minion and the automaton dolls furnishing and I don't think they ever increased the droprate on them so it'd still probably take dozens of runs just to see them drop.

Oh, man, I hate to be that guy but both the 9S minion and the doll furnishings dropped yesterday as well as a bunch of other stuff when I ran Paradigm's Breach. I won pretty much all of them because the second the raid finished almost everyone bailed.

In fact, that's what lead me to make this post. I haven't done these raids since they first came out on my main (this toon), so now it seems that either everyone has everything they want, or they don't care. You should run 'em. High chance they'll drop and you'll get them!

They're both guaranteed drops now. They drop every time.
