There are at present 8 melee and 9 ranged (10 if including BLU). Soon that will be 9 melee and 10 ranged (11 if including BLU).

There are soon to be 4 jobs of Fending, 4 jobs of Healing, 3 jobs of Casting, 3 jobs of Aiming, 2 jobs of Slaying, 2 jobs of Maiming, 1 job of Scouting, a partridge, and no pear trees.

What part of that makes a melee unlikely?
