4th Range DPS idea after endwalker

I'm bias because I've been waiting forever for some more dps casters. Rdm was a good add, but blue was a slap in the face and feels insulting sitting there, it just stares at me on the list laughing at me. lol (as fun as it is to poke around on.)

This is my wild stab in the dark, reading my broken crystal ball. Beastmaster phys ranged (Limited) and a new legit Melee... Not what I want, but that's my guess.

Things I would love to see... a new dps caster... Corsair, Rune Knight (that last ones not ranged I know.)

I would absolutely love if the fourth ranged dps was blitzballer, I would main the hell out of that.

In my mind, the top pick for a 4th ranged job is a Dual Pistol specialist, probably an Aerslaent-based Pirate-type like Musketeer or Corsair.

Alternately it could also mean the exact opposite, that the pruning of DoTs is a step away from having any DoT jobs at all.

Wouldn’t a musketeer use… a musket? I dunno, am I missing something? I don’t really play FF games beyond this one.

I’m also leaning towards there being no dot jobs in the future. Like pets, the devs have kiiiinda shown that they hate working with and balancing dots.

I'm not gonna say Corsair because it would be too similar to MCH it could be an entirely new job or a job that hasn't seen much representation at all.

The most likely would be one of the most requested being Gambler since they effectively throw playing cards as their ranged weapon.
