    4th Range DPS idea after endwalker

    I know i get it machinist dose this blah blah blah but.. i still wish yoshi P could do something of a 4th range class that handles modern Weaponry.

    Possibly Beast Master?

    I can imagine either using a boomerang or throwing axes similarly to Dancer’s Chakram.

    For pets I imagine summoning different wild beasts to perform certain roles; closing in for melee like a wild bear/coeurl or aerial attacks from afar like an eagle descending at an unmatched speed at its prey.

    Gridania would be an ideal starting zone since its nature related & being attuned with the wild & spirits.

    Corsais I am afraid might not be an option since we already have a gunslinger ((Machinist)).

    Its pretty obvious the next DPS up to bat is going to be a DoT focused caster with them pruning dots. However, it is possible there might be a physical ranged to go alongside it. It may be possible it could only be a DoT caster. I don't see another Tank coming nor another healer. Also unlikely to be a melee.

    As for a ranged physical, most likely either will be a totally unique class nobody can predict or it might be along the lines of Trickster or Juggler.

    Is it though? Every expansion had some sort of melee (tanks are blue melee DPS).
    I don't think they will give us 2 ranged and nothing for people who prefer to play at close range.
    I would be very surprised if the 2 jobs in 7.0 are not one magical ranged and one melee DPS.

    And I think they will do one "traditional FF job" and one "unique to XIV but inspired by FF history" job, as they did in both 5.0 and 6.0.
    I am guessing Time Mage and something using a whip similar to Seven in Type-0.


    Now when it comes to the next physical range, I am convinced it will be a crossbow-wielding Ranger, or another gun-wielding job since MCH is becoming more about machines than it is about guns.
    The videos that was shown from Lost Ark here is basically Machinist to be honest.

    It's unlikely, but I'd love for it to be Juggler from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Tactics Advance 2.

    The job could focus on throwing knives and be a selfish ranged DPS to contrast against Machinist which would also let them push Bard closer to Dancer's level of support have have those two contrast more closely against the other. Jugglers threw all kinds of things from knives to rings to Molotov cocktails. It would be kinda cool if they had an attack that bounced off the enemy and would land somewhere on the ground nearby your target and you could go to that spot to continue the attack a few separate times and would deal more damage or gain more benefits from arriving before your tossed item reached the ground, as if continuing a juggle.

    I could also see them collecting "gil" through applause from your party members or through stealing it from enemies to build up for a powerful Gil Toss as a part of their gauge.

    Probably because they're gauging melee/ranged/caster as separate playstyles which I can get behind, because they are quite distinct in those niches... I'd honestly love to have caster and ranged with an extra representation each to have more diversity in those playstyles. I'm not counting BLU since its target content differs greatly from the rest of the jobs.
