I would immediately become a Caster main and never look back!

And anyone who dislikes this can go into the settings and lower / turn off voice volume. Not that I imagine it would be a big deal. People already can't hear each other "Ha!" and "Hey-a!" in battle very well and I cannot believe some muttering would fare much better.

Not every melee attack comes with a voiced grunt or shout, so not every spell with a cast bar would have to either. This doesn't have to be an incessant chant.
And, as above, I don't see how this could get more annoying than the melee characters shouts (which I'm sure we all tune out just fine... when we can hear them).

Well I am a caster main and it would make me drop it haha, but its preference. I guess we can hope for the opposite outcomes here. I do like hearing voices but I thought it was wise for Casters to impart focused silence vs the other classes.

Well, it is not for everyone so an option to turn it off would be a good thing.
