Where TF do you buy the ambient orchestrion rolls? EVERY website is FALSE!!

EVERY WEBSITE CLAIMS that you can buy them in any residential area but NOTHING could be further from the truth!! I checked ALL the merchants in ALL the housing areas and NOBODY is selling these orchestrion rolls!

Where is the REAL place to get these? Since no website can give a legitimate answer on this

Housing Merchant in any of the residential districts (Lavender Beds, Goblet, Mist, Shirogane) does sell many orchestrion rolls including ambient ones.
Apartment Merchant in the lobby of any of the apartment buildings also sell them.

On most websites the coordinates for each vendor is listed. Make sure you are at the correct one. In addition some of the later region orchestrion rolls are locked behind a currency obtained from doing Fates.

This really seems like it could be their laziest work yet. Went to one website(Garlond Tools), they had all the info(location, npc name and racial data, price list for what they sold - including how the shop categories were sorted, even the appearance data for the NPC!). I would have looked in game, but thats more effort then OP went to. I also already bought all the ambient rolls, so they must have sold them to me. I mean, the housing merchant has a sales category that includes the word "Orchestrion". If thats too hard to figure out, then i honestly dont even have words for you anymore. No point, you wouldnt understand them.

Housing merchants sell them, but if you really can't find them, buying from the player market is also a quick option.

They are there. Look up the coordinates for those NPCs.

This thread just made me aware of the ambient scrolls. Is it possible to mix them in with regular Orchestrion scrolls? I've never used an Orchestrion before, but want to try it now.

Yes.
You select them to play in an orchestrion like any other track. The orchestrion just lets you make a playlist using any scrolls you've collected.
