Change "Oathkeeper" title?

For many in North America, particularly minorities, the title is off-putting since it shares the name with a registered hate/paramilitary group.

Trying to think of equivalents in the other language regions and whether people would want to see that title. Japanese would be something akin to "Zaitokukai". French would be something like "Iparretarrak". German would be a group like the "Schutzstaffel" (perhaps overkill). Some of these groups were obviously more violent than others, so maybe these comparisons are moot.

聖剣の騎士 translates to something like "Knight of the Holy Sword". The Holy Sword's name is "Oathkeeper", much like the name of the keychain for Sora's Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts is named "Oathkeeper".

The title "The Oathkeeper" is not the name of the American group, they are "Oath Keepers". If we are to keep the true memory of something, we decry the uses that evil makes of words which hold meaning, we recognize that evil and we act to counter it.

We do not stop using the words. When we stop using true words, they lose their meaning.

So if the sword itself is Oathkeeper, then my character in Eorzea would literally be a sword? I need to re-think my entire glamour!

Hmm, always thought that the title was reference to THIS.

I think there is polearm sharing the name in ff11 too, sure, but I always found the keyblade's thematic similarity more poignant: Oathkeeper has been the light coloured and visually "good alignment" screaming kayblade of the KH seies since the first game, PLD is the "knight in shining armor" coded job of ff14.

I like the title, use it actually quite often and see nothing rotten in it. Obviously I am not from NA
