Just woke up, tried to find the thread and now it's gone?! It was one of my favorite threads to read :c

I do hope it comes back, the amount of stories on there spanning 3,000+ pages was cool to look back on and read and see that what was a problem years ago is still complained about now. And even though we could just start a new one... it just wouldn't be the same.

Last I saw on that thread last night was people talking about aspects of using trusts in duties vs doing them via DF with other people. No idea why it disappeared unless someone started trolling excessively in a window of a few hours.

There's another thread on the front page that had its title changed by a mod, seemingly by accident. Could it be that they meant to delete a post within the Duty Finder Tales thread and instead accidentally nuked the whole thing?

If so, I really hope they can restore it somehow or I'll be sad to lose on all these years of stories :_:

Darn, here I just got out from DF and have some stories to share, yet they just nuked it lol.

They used to be my main entertainment to between MSQ roulette’s cutscenes if I don’t have any irl chores go deal with at the moments :c

It's a thread that has been around for years and has seen new posts on a near daily basis. This is precisely why I think we need more engagement and explanations from our community representatives/moderators when it comes to post and thread deletion.

It strikes me as strange for the thread to be left alone for so long only to be deleted now. Hopefully it's only a temporary measure, though. I know the male viera thread vanished for a bit only to suddenly come back.

Frankly if this is a case of deletion and not simply hiding it to scrub - it makes me question the moderation even more. No moderation is bad enough, but poor moderation can arguably be even worse.

I can only hope it was a mistake, if it was deleted; another thread got renamed to something weird, so perhaps it's some new community moderator who is still learning the ropes and messed up.

That thread has been around nearly as long as ARR has, and as you said - it's consistently active and with over 3k pages across all these years. To just delete that because of some trolls or w/e would be absolutely insane and tone-deaf.
