    The fun thing about Black Mage is that, despite being super-slow, you actually have to think and make a lot of decisions if you want your DPS to be high. Every fight is different. You have to come up with tactics that will allow you to move as little as possible to satisfy mechanic requirements, or else your damage will just suck. Things like when the best time to use your Leylines is, when to use your Triplecast, etc. That's what I love about this job, despite being a tank main.

    Haven't played the other casters so I can't really comment on what they're like.

    I play a RDM... short cast times and nice rotation that isn't as easily broken by mechanics.

    I only bring my BLM out in Bozja content with chainspell and flare star
