Please add a function that allows uploading of own custom midi's or wav music files so we can choose how the housing interior music sounds like. Knowing everyone's rare taste... visiting a strangers house would always be something magical![]()

The only online game I know that allowed people to play their own music and be heard by other players was APB Reloaded.
Basically when you uploaded a sound, the game would verify if it’s present from a music database (I forgot its name sadly, been a decade..) and check if your file match the actual song, duration, etc.
I’m not sure how they did it but it would imply copyright issues and stuff if it’s done on FFXIV

won't happen. same reason why we would never be able to upload pictures to put in frames in houses. anything user submitted would be too much work for vetting.
just buy the primals or pulse orchestrion packs from mogstation![]()
That won't fly because of musical licensing issues and also because people will upload... interesting... sound tracks that are... inappropriate... for FFXIV.
Won't happen for the reasons the others have mentioned.
You can always set up a stream with your music of choice and tell visitors to have the stream running while they visit your house. That's what some of the player run nightclubs do.
This is just a dream. Open Spotify and enjoy alone![]()
Already did but it contains "not enough" variety![]()
