5. numbers are being adjusted however I have no information on what numbers being adjusted just speculation at this point. scholars aren't completely screwed. think of them as like bards. boring decent power like skills.

1: ruin II ain't really going anywhere yet, as for ED, they may take it away at first, then put it back later, but we don't know and won't for at least a couple weeks.
2: as much as people would prefer having more DPS options for SCH, the devs wouldn't necessarily give Bane and Miasma to SCH, especially when that would contradict the heal more ShB SCH that they decided to improve on over anything else.
3:they did say every healer's main AoE would get some sor of effect to make them on par with WHM's Holy stun. As for what we'll get, we won't know til later.
4: Selene was only used instead of Eos in the Job Action trailer because it's named after the Goddess of the Moon, and the overall theme of Endwalker has to do with the moon. Plus, considering how they deleted the 2 sects for AST, I don't see them making differences between the 2 fairies again. They did mention changes to the pet AI, but again, didn't necessarily specify what yet.
5: your speculations at this point are not even worth it. You have interesting ideas, but you focus more on the "image" of the jobs more than the "mechanics" of them. A job can look flashy all ot wants, but it doesn't mean anything if it ain't able to actually work in the game at all. If you're so damn obsessed with how a job looks, then consider taking a break, play another game.

Scholar is a healer role, not a tank role; this thread is posted under the wrong area.

Also, any speculation on future job changes should be backed by an official source approved by Square Enix if said changes are additionally being presented as fact; otherwise, it could be seen as intentionally misleading. Unauthorized leaks may also be against terms of service, but I have faith in the forum moderators for addressing those potential rule violations.
