Did you ever find a solution to this? I have been struggling with it as well for about a month or two and it has been driving me insane. I have the same issue you provided in that link with Asahi's collar, except mine tends to be much worse than that. I also suffer from the horrible anti aliasing previously mentioned that shows up in all of the google results, and I have been unable to find anything that resolves the issues.
