How about introducing a medium primal fight? Make it the same as the Hard version, except for a lower level, say 35 or 40, set it up to be very difficult fr 4 people at that level with the option to bring up to 8 people total, and have the same drop rate for both the weapons and the totems/nuts etc...

Limit it even further so that an individual can only do the fight once every 6 hours or so.

And then increase the drop rate for the Hard version.

With the current drop rate, I know of two people in the 100+ win fight against Ifirit, and have only gotten two totems between them, and no weapon drops.

It's a pain in the rear to get 8 people who can do the fight efficiently, and then when you do win to gt nothing of value. Most people probably do not have the time or the patience to put all their attention on a single piece of content, only to never reap the rewards. If I wanted to do something repetitive, I'd go play COD.
