The funny thing is that whenever he's talking about WoW he's basically just criticizing it or Blizzard did something stupid again.
So why the hell would he ask for and want FFXIV to be like WoW?

Either way not inviting him would've been incredibly stupid, it's so much free marketing.

If reactions to the game like he and Rich have had ain't '' being a true fan '' then I dunno what that even entails.
Same with Streamers like Pyromancer he basically has orgasms live on Stream from the lore and the game, it's pretty clear when someone really loves the game and when someone doesn't.

I mean just having played the game a long time doesn't make you a '' true fan ''.
I grew up playing Blizzard games, and I played WoW since Vanilla.
But I am definitely not a Blizzard fan anymore quite the opposite I feel a lot of antagonism towards them and they're one of my least liked developers in the industry at this point.
But there's a lot of people who started playing WoW in Shadowlands or BFA and are in love with the game and huge fanboys/girls.

Look you can dislike the guy he is kind of a jerk face and has made some pretty bad comments in terms of just being a human and still feel for him having a sick mom and even though I dislike him and disagree most times he does have some good points same for WoW loved it grew up with it and watched it's fall heck even our beloved Yoshi-p loves WoW I could totally get on board with a ffxiv version of mythic plus now all wow stuff no but there is some good concepts mixed it there with the bad. I dunno People can we just like even if we dislike each other be nice...I could really use some faith in humanity right now. Also hope his mom gets better sucks losing your mom..

Either way the poor dude cant get a break. Mans had extreme health scares with his mother, is dealing with described depression and social anxieties with a side of what sounds like mild agoraphobia, and still people troll around using him.

My mom passed away years ago, I also battle depression and anxiety, as well as OCD, agoraphobia and claustrophobia (a bitchin' combo, I assure you) and I still cannot stand to look at the stupid thumbnails he uses on his videos.

My point is that this is not the Bizzaro universe; celebrities on Earth can and will have their personal lives picked apart by the public, and will continue to be harassed and trolled regardless of said personal life issues. It shouldn't be any surprise that the health of his parents, or his mental health, have no bearing at all on how others treat him.

I mean, at least here in the US, we're still absolute jerks to mentally ill people. We still believe the "if I can do it, they can do it," nonsense. We look at them with disgust on our faces. Homelessness wouldn't even exist if we had compassion and understanding for those that cannot do what most of us can do (namely, work and carry responsibility).

The problem in this case is the YT algorithm. It vastly prefers thumbnails with faces which show strong emotions. That's the reason why the thumbnails of almost all videos are so ridiculous.
