That doesn't matter since each race uses their own skeleton scale so if you make a much miqote larger you're gonna start clipping into chairs pretty damn fast, I'm all for pushing it to the limits of the system but there are limits.
You're really overestimating the depth of the height system, it literally just takes the whole model and either makes it smaller or bigger, no accounting for proportions or anything. It's a problem with some races where if they're too far from their intended height they just look wrong, either their head ends up being too small (Elezen, Roegadyn) or they look like weird bobble heads (aka why female Au Ra can never be made as tall as their male counterparts without redesigning them first)
... but back on topic, yeah, I'm all for expanding the height range a bit more! Head size is (again) the limiting factor, but as you can see here there's still plenty of leeway

I am pretty sure there is a tall female au ra in Shisui dungeon, the one named Captain but overall no much to say on technical aspectsYou're really overestimating the depth of the height system, it literally just takes the whole model and either makes it smaller or bigger, no accounting for proportions or anything. There is, yeah, but unfortunately it's probably a case of "make enemies bigger for visibility" than anything. Apparently mob size was a thing they decided they had to fix early on, and the reason we're stuck with kobolds the size of cows now (as just one example)...
My female Au'ra needs a height boost.
6 foot tall lalafell or riot
I'm about 5'6" irl. I can get roughly my height in game with male character models however they're all noticeably more muscular than I am resulting in the petite female options of Miqo'te and Au ra looking more like me physically than any of the existing male options as I've been about 115 - 120lbs since graduating high school over 20 years ago. I think the smallest height option for the upcoming male viera is still 1-2 inches taller than me when not counting the ears. At a glance atleast they look leaner than the existing male options. I haven't bothered downloading that benchmark thing to play around with it tho.
Most cases in games if I play a male character I want it to resemble what I look like IRL. Very few games provide options like that. As such I then either end up rolling a female character or in some cases if I find an aesthetic I like something different. The only Large character I've made in recent memory was for PSO2. Male cast cosmetics generally look better with a larger character model so my male cast alt is near max height with a powerful looking build. I don't generally play tiny races unless I find them really cute which the most recent in memory was years ago in a MMO called Pandora Saga where I made Lapins which were bunny people about the height of a lalafell that had the long floppy ears instead of the stiff vertical ones.
Unlikely.
After all, it's not like they stretch avatars with the high slider, they grow or shrink porportionally so anything greater than what they have now risks breaking immersion with Andre the Giant levels of surreal growth.
I don’t think this idea should be implemented.
The reason being the races need to be different from eachother. I like the current height ranges of the races, it suits them and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I once came across someone who said to me they want the viera minimum height to be changed to 5ft and honestly, it made me feel really uneasy… No, no, no.
