    Splitting relic dungeons into multiple boss instances

    For longer fights like Baldesion Arsenal, Delubrum Reginae (Savage) and maybe future relic dungeons, how do you all think about splitting them into multiple boss instances, just like Savage Raids.

    I think this would be perfect for those who:-
    1. have real life contraints
    2. cannot commit long time to a long dungeon fight
    3. cannot play at the start time of organized groups

    Killing some adds + 1 boss in separate instance will take a lot less time compared to running a full dungeon. Having this will not only provide a chance for them to introduce more quests between bosses but definitely also allow and encourage more players to participate.

    I think it is healthy and interesting to have both raids and big multi-boss dungeons.
    I don't much benefit to restructuring these exploration dungeons to make them more like other content already available.
    Yes, they can be a little long and somewhat awkward to get into, but not much more so than a DPS queueing for an alliance roulette.

    I think the idea of baldesion arsenal and delubrum savage is to challenge player to have a lot of time to die for trial a lot, preparation of essence + stuff and the dedication to learn and being patient, by making them less challenging or easier to access is the opposite of the concept they are built upon....... and Yes, i also at the camp where its such a shame that such amazing raid is having a big barrier to entry, but that also mean it is an achievement itself to be able to have access to them and even more at defeating them

    Haven't done DRS but I can easily say that BA is enjoyable because it really feels like you're raiding the place, if they made it into multiple boss instances it would become extremely boring and lose all its charm.

    Please no. They are optional contents with their own unique charms.

    Our ‘normal raids’ in ARR & HW—specifically speaking the Coils & Alexander used to have adds we have to take care of. StB and onward, ‘Normal Raids’ seems just like a naming customary purpose nowadays. In practice they behave almost identical to ‘Trials’. People don’t like trash packs so they’ve deleted them entirely from Normal Raids.

    I really don’t want to see our ‘Relic Dungeon’ watered down to ”Oh, just another kind of savage floor.” in the name of accessibility. All those people who actually do them a couple of times per week (myself included) also have to deal with in real life stuffs.

    Better: they could do away with this Eurekan nonsense entirely, and give us ARR/HW style relics back.

    its great when relics are apart of the main content and not the end goal of a shopping list

    I strongly suspect OP is being disingenuous. As calling the specific examples he cites "relic dungeons" is a false premise to begin with. It's conflating the usual "casual" relic content with the two current more "hardcore" large scale encounters that are completely optional. Completing either has no effect on completing the relic weapons use in regular content (though BA is required for an additional step that adds a elemental bonus to the relics... which is only relevant in eureka content). For casual intents and purposes, the relics can be completed without ever setting foot into either.

    As someone who play every combat/gather/crafting class, I would like an option to craft my own relics with my own name on it instead of just pushing the responsibility to Gerolt. And no, Skysteel tools are not "crafting my own items", because it is more like "crafting turn-in items for NPC to do the upgrade for you".
