As was brought to my attention and the more I think about it the more I think it was probably just a latency issue. If someone could please close this thread and move it to the appropriate place or delete it that would be much appreciated. Thanks.

In challenging content, aoe indicators are frequently removed, making the content way harder because you have to remember to avoid and how far to avoid. This usually happens in extreme, savage and ultimate, but happens in some enemies and bosses in POTD and HoH.
You should consider all floors above 100 as the "savage" version of POTD, because it has the same bosses and enemies as 1-100 but they are much worse.
What was your Aetherpool level? You should be +99 if you are going above 100 solo and using pomanders. You can look up maygi's potd handbook that will explain which enemies are dangerous and why.

This is normal. 50+ is harder, there are no ground indicators, you need to remember how to avoid the skills based off how they worked in lower floors based off their previous hitboxes/skill names/telegraph that the boss uses, etc.It has happened to me before in POTD(around 1 day ago) where the aoe that are supposed to have a ground indication have none. For example on the floor 60 boss The Black Rider the aoe that spawn on the outside of the room would only show an indication some of the time. The rest of the time there was no ground indication.
Alfard casts Fear Itself, which if it hits you lose control of your character and you wont be able to use any actions for about 10 seconds. Secondly, did you have the Pox debuff from Mimic chests?

We read it but you may notice that most of the bug reports in here are actually just a misunderstanding of the game or something that while not obvious could be solved easily.
If your bug report stands up to the skepticism of the replies then maybe it is a bug. We were just giving you the opportunity to respond to the first things that come to someone's mind when they read your report.
I didn't actually have a reply to the main bug you reported (heals not working), but obviously this sort of thing may happen if there is lag either on the server or for you.

The heals not working specifically sounds like a ping issue. You might be able to walk around but you might’ve experienced a sudden ping jump. This can be either the games fault (a networking hiccup) or an issue with your router, ISP, extender (if you use one) or any one of the cables coming out of your PC or router - or a networking hiccup on your end.
I say this specifically because about two weeks ago I experienced this same issue in a different fight altogether (Ruby Weapon Normal)- heals not going off, skills in general just not casting etc etc., aoes not appearing where they should. It got to the point where I’d have to hit a skill maybe 5 times for it to register that it actually went off (heck, the GCD would go for one millisecond before literally fully resetting!)
It may be fine, it may not be - I’d actually pay attention more often to see if you experience this any other time without realizing it.
