FFXIV in SEA

Even if there's SEA server I won't move there because I already have house I want and doing lottery again is gonna be painful... Probably just making alts there.

We never asked for one.
We only asked for it to be available on SEA Steam Store.

Is it because of the title of this thread that a lot of people assumed we asked for a SEA Server?
Because that is definitely not what we wanted.

Sorry if I posted this on the wrong category, I checked the rules of other forum categories but none of them suits this kind of thread.

My friend once lived for some years in Japan where the game is available on Steam and bought it there,
he then went back to his home country in SEA where surprisingly, the Full Game is not available but the Free Trial is! Weird.

He currently also cannot buy the subscription and cannot post on the forum so I'm typing this on his behalf:

Please add the Full Game on SEA (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, etc.) Steam Store, because we don't see any reasonable reason why would the Free Trial is available but not the Full Game.
Doesn't need any new server, just make it available to be purchased here through Steam Store.

We also believe that by making FFXIV available on SEA Steam Store (and maybe even better, with a localized price) would also attract more players from this region which will be beneficial for the game's profit.
Especially considering there is an upcoming OCE server which literally is very close to SEA, it would be strange not having the Full Game to be available for purchase here.

just wanna make sure did he change the steam store preference back to Indonesia after return? Because i try to ask through steam discussion, most of them told me to not change the steam store region from JP to Indonesia

I don't think anyone's asking for a DC.
Then again, you can always stay in the JPN DC.
