Could we have an option to turn off LB3 visual effects?

At the very least, I wish they'd tone down Red Mage's LB3. It's blinding.

Agrees. It happened to me once when the boss was about to attack and I couldn't see it because Red mage used their LB3 and it ended up with half of us dead....
