Short of L50, "Rock of the Castrum" Quest

My next available Main Scenario Quest is "Rock of the Castrum", L50. I am currently L49.5.

I Googled it and found I need to be L50 for my job class to have RotC open up for me.

I am a White Mage and as far as I can tell, I have done all my Conjurer and White Mage Quests available to me at my level because when I go to Raya-O-Senna to take on my next White Mage quest, "Heart of the Forest", it says I need to be L50 to accept this quest.

In summary, I am too low for the L50 Main Story Quest and too low for the L50 White Mage Job Class Quest.

How do I level up to 50 then? Are there Side Quests I missed that I need to do to get to 50?

Seems like I am in a no-win, between a rock-and-a-hard place situation. What am I missing?

You probably missed some sidequests somewhere. Or you skipped some optional dungeon runs.

As for how you can level up - run a leveling roulette or two. That should provide you with more than enough XP to reach level 50.
Daily roulettes and on-level dungeons are excellent ways of getting xp - keep that in mind if/when you level a second job.

    I'll second MistakeNot,

It's a good idea to take some time away from doing quests to run some roulettes. Not only does this break up the tedium of fetching..I mean questing, but it nets you a decent amount of extra XP for some padding and tomestones for that lvl 50, 60, and 70 gear.

Being a healer, you'll often get an extra bonus to XP and/or faster queues on roulettes. If you're uncomfortable with starting out right at your level, you can go back and queue for lower level dungeons where you synch down to help learn abilities as you queue for increasingly higher level dungeons. I'm going to have to use this route for my PLD and WHM when the time comes to play them as I haven't touched them since ARR.
