    Can't log-in inside Inn after Maintenance

    I honestly don't know if this should be in technical Support or Bug Report, so sorry in advance if it's in the wrong place.

    Character: Ashleigh Ackerman

    Data Center: Aether

    World: Jenova

    Location: The Roost

    Problem:

    Logged out on character while in the inn in Gridania. After maintenance on 9/27-9/28, I am unable to log back in on this character. I do have a number of other characters (on Jenova and elsewhere), and all can log in fine (yes, I checked) - it's just this one character who was inside an inn.

    Any help with this would be much appreciated, and Thank You in advance

    Do you experience any error messages when this occurs? Additionally, what have you tried so far to alleviate the issue?

    It sort of freezes right after I select the character, and then an error message pops up and closes the game.

    I can't seem to put up the clipped image I have of it, but it says "An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV.(17)"

    And I don't have anything to try, except just trying again each day to log in on it. Like I said, it's the only character that's experiencing this problem because it's the only one I had in an Inn during maintenance. I've honestly been too scared to take another character into an Inn in case I lose the ability to log in with that one as well.

    We apologize for this ongoing issue. Please note, if the error lies with just this one character, you may want to try deleting the locally saved data folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Make sure to create a backup of this folder so you can have a copy of the in-game settings should you wish to use them again.

    It took a bit to get it right, and then to set it all back up and make sure I can log on/off alright still, but it all seems to be alright now.
