And if rumors are to be believed we got the 2 charges on bloodletter that just helps for when things dont proc.

    As a Bard main the only area I feel bard is lacking is more party skills, and its early leveling experience which is horrible. Bard Shadowbringers is 100% different then bard heavensward. They need to increase the proc rates at lower levels even if it means cutting potency early on to balance it. because hitting only burst shot hoping to proc straight shot and getting the rare AF bloodletter with mages is not ideal and actually I have seen this turn people off completely from leveling the Job when in Shadowbringers its an enjoyable job and is very quick your never not hitting buttons.
    To put this in perspective I've always tended towards DoT classes and played Warlock, Feral Druid, and Shadow Priest in WoW. DoT tracking is not an issue, even without any UI support in FFXIV. But the very laborious ramp-up is annoying for AoE or short add phases. In another thread I mentioned stealing the now-discarded bane from SMN or allowing quick nock to proc songs. DoTs are also a weird ability for an archer/bard hybrid that don't fit the class fantasy. I'd rather see rolling buffs on your party for procs than rolling DoTs on the enemy.

    Right now we're a DOT/nuke mage with better utility. Endwalker does not appear to change this at all but just makes the class more forgiving.

    I think a vid I just watched this was actually increased to 35% for endwalker. quicknock does kind of proc something with the songs to help with that. again I agree with the needing something like perhaps iron jaws when used on an enemy to spread all the dots to everything to make things simpler for mobbing, but this is QOL change and again is nice but also isnt needed. As long as I get dots on as many mobs while the tank is pulling its fine but I can see the need and want of it because for add phases in boss fights your sitting there applying dots before being able to AOE with good enough damage. Quick knock did get an upgrade though. so maybe it will be enough who knows. Also need to consider the new song might be a decent use on adds even with that small buff of 1 at 2% or 2 at 4% instead of 5%. we just dont know yet.

    BRD is awesome, it ain’t flawless and I can see blatant issues and can probably make a spread sheet on how to improve it, but BRDs great. Not nearly enough people main it and it gets way to much hate while other jobs with controversial stuff needs more attention...or they just don’t like the playstyle and that’s fine and fair
    I dont think people hate bard I think they just want it to be 1 way or the other and not the hybrid that it is. Bards been fine fun job that doesnt appeal to everyone and thats ok. Early level bard though really does need the rates increased on the dots so your not spamming 1 button for most of the content while everyone else has a rotation. because Bard Heavensward is 100% different from the fast paced Shadowbringers Bard. And I have seen this turn people away from leveling the job.
