It's a fee of $18.00 that allows you to transfer ALL characters on a server to another. That is eight separate characters for the price of one, which is by far the cheapest option for server transfers that I know of. Of the top three MMOs ESO uses mega severs so this isn't a thing and World of Warcraft charges you $25.00 per character for server transfers. I think we got a steal in comparison.
One has to wonder if OP does this for everything that costs money everywhere else as well.
Like sure 20 bucks is 20 bucks.. but luxuries cost luxury money and as they aren't necessary for survival are going to be unregulated and market driven. People are willing to pay these prices, so the prices stand.
Next thing we're going to be hearing about is how people "falling" for the pricing are keeping it from being a "real" price.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
I would love to switch servers. Sadly I have a house which I love more. As housing is such a bad apple in the FFXIV servers. It's not worth me ever leaving.
Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.
Only if they should be getting a commendation.
There are always exceptions to the rules!
To be fair, they also complain about the gameplay being too hard. Apparently no one on their DC can clear extreme/unreal/savage content unless they have a static so that type of content should be nerfed or removed from the game.
Just roll a new toon if it's too much and visiting their realm for free is too much hassle.
*Sigh* ...
Why should I restart from nothing?
Because $18 is still expensive. That's like saying this brick of opulence is reasonably priced at $999,999 because this bring of opulence is priced at 1,149,999.
