



It really isn't though. That's literally two hours of work at 9/h. Either way, they point is to give people enough pause to consider whether they actually want to transfer or not. SE doesn't want to incentivize bouncing around servers as it'll balloon populations while also making it difficult to convince people to transfer off congested worlds.

I think the most expensive thing about transferring people is that when you have a house, well this promised land, you have almost no chance of getting one.
That was the case when they invited everyone to migrate from an overpopulated world to a new world.
And for the price, it's about the standard price on any MMO, on WoW, it's 25$.
