    ^ Darklight is pretty sweet.

    To the naysayers and acc-hoarders...my hit % on primals/hamlet/CC/AV is above 90% (usually 92-96%) without food....with the following gear:

    Drachen AF
    Felt Gloves w/ 2x STR (III and IV)
    Ifrit's Harpoon
    Str and Pie rings (NQ)
    Pie bracelet (NQ)
    Electrum Gorget (NQ)

    with stuffed cabbage (which grants up to 34 accuracy), I am well into 95+%...so I'm not sure what you all are doing, but my ACC is pretty okay as is right now. I plan on going for a Tort double or triple meld, but for the moment, base-line gear, I'd have to say AF wins out (for me at least). I was more curious on legit number data with AF vs Tabard ^^;

Unless you're hitting the 460+ without food and buffs I would definitely pick explorer's or a double-triple melded cobalt hauby (red).
    Going to pick out the Hart Guisarme out of all of that, since the +50 crit power is = to about 8.6% more damage on r50 mobs. Using a Hart Guisarme is only allowable if you do not have access to a primal weapon, damage-wise. I had a double melded (12pie, 17str) hart, and the damage was still significantly higher with Ifrit's Harpoon from the higher base damage, which lifted my stat ceilings.

    Hi all.

    I was wondering why no one had mentioned the Tortoiseshell Scale mail yet. It has (off the top of my head, so I may need to be corrected) peity, acc, and dex. Plus, it's a body piece so you can meld more piety to it. Don't think they are too expensive nowadays. I know the mats arent too hard to come by.

    Thoughts?

    I actually just started using a Tortoiseshell because I double-PIE'd it.

    Haubergeon's are for ACC hoarders. Stuffed Cabbage is all you need.

    The haubergeon would probably be better even if you took out the accuracy.

    I've got a double melded crit tortoiseshell for +64that i used back before jobs. I use it now cuz i already have it. With it, af head and garuda's beak i have like +150 crit damage. I've yet to really test it though. I don't see how a haub is that much better anyway.
