So with the recent changes to DRG and crit attack/rate in mind, is it worth stacking crit gear now?

maybe? test it out?
Yep its worth it to add alot of Crit rate but for bosses i dont think Crit attack affects them much idk where i heard that tbh
Not really "a lot". It's better but that's all.
Focus your STR/PIE cap and then see if you have a room to add a critical hit rate/dmg gear.
Sadly, there really isn't much room for crit gear once you cap stats. Unless you have some quad melds or something crazy.
The amount of crit rate you get per 1 crit rate stat on gear was increased dramatically with the 1.22a fix. With crit rate stacked gear on my war I crit 20-25% of the time. I find it is highly valueable stat now to get in certain gear slots on certain jobs. As for DRG? I would probably focus a bit more on crit attack power since u get a crit boost in a handful of your ws.

All I will say is, I have a good amount of Crit ATK+ and my damage on the Princess is dramatically higher. I am getting easy 1000-1100 damage Doomspikes on Princess. That is also along with STR nearly capped and PIE moderately high.
A noobish question, but I'm having a hard time finding the answer... what are the current str and piety caps? I have all three primal lances if it varries based on weapon stats. I'm a main tank and secondary healer, so... dps is something i'm barely learing.
At present i have 364str and 290-something piety.
Based on most recent testing (1.21a I think?) it is 350STR, 310PIE Link
Edit: There is an ongoing discussion on what DPS' effect is. Preliminary testing shows that DPS influences WS while Base Damage influences Auto-Attack (kinda backwards, but w/e).

It's actually not backwards at all. Base damage "influences" auto-attack hits because it's literally the stat that determines how hard you smack things. DPS is used for WS calculation only because it balances weapon speeds.Edit: There is an ongoing discussion on what DPS' effect is. Your WS frequency over time is completely independent of your weapon delay, so the slow but powerful weapons would always have a huge edge if WS also used the damage stat in their damage calculations. This is why much of the community thought the high DPS but fast Garuda weapons would suck when they were revealed.
