They should take notes from Xenoblade 3's Soulhacker which is Blue Mage in all but name and not just give us spells but traits/passives and clear content or use this spell this many times to upgrade the spell or passive into a more powerful skill/trait.

As well as add new spells/traits onto the existing A rank and S rank hunt monsters and make it worth delving into doing Extreme trials.

And I do think it's time they let Blue Mages enter Deep Dungeons, Eureka(which is full of unique monsters that you defeat on each map), Bozja/Zadnor content for potentially more new acquisitions then gating them out of it. It is peculiar to me that the BiS gear for Blue Mage is in Eureka but Blue Mage itself can't earn it on their own you have to be a different class.

The notion of a limited job is such a dumpster bin idea that shouldn't even exist. If you want a proper Blue Mage then you have it start out from nothing until it becomes this overpowered contender that you may as well be a walking raid boss in the overworld.

Blue Mage is so one and done after you clear each Carnivale fight and it's pretty sad.

Given the lack of news on their plans for Blue Mage I hope we jump from 70 to 90 but I think if we get anything at all it will be up to 80 and we will always be one xpac behind.

The fun of Blue Mage in every FF it appears in is to defeat monsters and take their powers and make them your own They've made BLU very limited and half the spells achieve the same thing with similar effects and potencies it feels like they don't have a lot of creativity happening with creating new spells.

The best use of BLU is helping players farm FATEs quickly and doing some baller low level dungeon runs.
