What is it about G'raha's soul

Maybe I am trying too much to read between the lines here but...what is it about G'raha's soul and the Allagan eyes?

In 5.3, we see Elidibus trying to do something to G'raha and say
"Though you lack her blessing, your soul is surprisingly dense"

For a long time I thought "well yeah, he lived through one more rejoining than everybody else".
But I struggle to understand the relevance of that line at that moment in the story, as it sounds so much like a foreshadowing of some sort...

So it led me to questions about the Allagan bloodline as a whole.
What is it? What is that red eye?
Since Emet was involved in the Allagan empire, was that eye a new trick of his?
When G'raha got his second red eye, what did it mean? There was this line from Doga at that moment : "Know that as long as this light of hope survives in you, our souls will still remain- even if our bodies are lost"
So, did Doga/Unei souls rejoin with G'raha?
Unei also said 'We will share our blood with you. Though it's effect will be but ephemeral, it will bolster the Allagan presence within you."
Is G'raha going to lose his red eye at some point then?...Are Unei and Doga souls going to leave him and go to another body later? Similar to Ascians souls then?

Can the eye be somehow related to Garlemald, and Fandaniel saying "could Emet Selkh have found a way?"? Is it a coincidence that the Resonant have red eyes too?

So I guess my question is...do we have any information on the red eyes function and what they are exactly? Or is it just as vague as many other plot elements introduced early on to leave some room for future plot?

It still may just be the extra Rejoining making his soul denser, but the Allagan blood did protect him from the Cloud of Darkness so perhaps there's some degree of protection from other Dark powers as well.

And they were talking again in (I think) 5.4 about that blessing being temporary, so yes I think there is a chance of it running out at an inconvenient time, or being "spent" for some other advantage.

I'm pretty sure it was spent, and the tower insisted on the JOINING and turning to crystal in order for him to continue to have permission to operate the system.

So I'd call it spent before 5.3.

Once souls join, they don't seem to easily split. Graha starts at his solo self, at 6 joins. He gains two other souls in partnership with himself, taking his concentration to 18. All three of them have a matching fragment that joined in the disaster he wanted to stop. Takes his concentration to 21. This guy, at this point, has a higher soul energy in one body than an entire ascian.

That's unprovable in any case, but assuming it were true, that would still only be the Exarch's copy of the blessing that was spent. Source G'raha hasn't been through the same experience so his is still intact.

I don't think the tally works that way.

I feel like there would have to be more impact if he were carrying two extra "incompatible souls" with him this whole time. It's a very different prospect to us merging with Ardbert or even him with his other self.

I think he said something (probably relaying from Y'shtola) about his soul seeming in a similar state to ours – we being the one other character with nine shards instead of eight.

I believe that only the English version has it as explicit as "it's draining her life force" and other versions just say it has unspecified dangers so I don't think we'll see anything directly come from it.

Still waiting for Y'shtola to just drop dead in the middle of a cutscene because of her eyes.

She'll use Flow masterfully this time, cheating death and coming back no worse for wear, only to keel over dead a few minutes afterwards from entirely unrelated eye problems.
