Race running animations

I made a thread a couple days ago asking if people would like to be able to choose animation sets independent of race which met with a fairly mixed reaction, so...

I really find it weird, since selling emotes and other stuff on the mog station is a thing. Plus I'm not sure if it's something that could be integrated in the game as a free feature unless due to costs and manpower being used on the next expansion.
For example, instead of the mime emote you would get a new Viera running animation or something like that.

Maybe there's a skeleton limitation I'm not aware of, or maybe there's simple not enough people who care about this.
