Race running animations

I wonder if the topic of changing a race running animation via unlock, vendor or mog station was ever thought of and if there was a limitation of it not being able to be implemented.
Or maybe not many people care for it to be a thing?

I really find it weird, since selling emotes and other stuff on the mog station is a thing. Plus I'm not sure if it's something that could be integrated in the game as a free feature unless due to costs and manpower being used on the next expansion.
For example, instead of the mime emote you would get a new Viera running animation or something like that.

Maybe there's a skeleton limitation I'm not aware of, or maybe there's simple not enough people who care about this.

dulia chai uses lalafell animations simply because their proportions match up better than the clip fest you would get by forcing her to use miqote, so unless you want your character mesh distorted to match the race of the animations you want....its not gonna happen

I'm honestly not talking about mixing other races animations, but lets say:
Unlocking a new running animation (as we do with emotes) or.... Selling a new animation on the Mog store for 1 race.

sorry, when i read race running animation i assumed you wanted to swap them around.
given that we're recently gotten new idle poses it could be something the devs are looking at but i wouldnt expect it any time soon if at all.

More exactly, Dulia-Chai uses Lalafell animations because that is what her model is based on.

There was a behind-the-scenes video they showed at a presentation – I didn't watch it but saw screenshots – of the base model in Lalafell-style hempen gear.

So that means we can expect a short tailed race being added at some point since they had to have added tail movement from scratch and why let it go to waste

Ok... I found 2 temporary solutions.
1_ Go back to Viera and give up on my hairstyles...
2_ Like in all problems in life, apparently everything can be solved becoming a cat girl.

I'm fairly confident races can swap animations, considering combat animations are identical and so are unlockable emotes. Obviously there'd be some issues, like Miqo'te and Au Ra ending up with immobile tails, while I'm pretty sure male Roes and Hrothgar can only use each other's on account of their proportions, but in the grand scheme of things...
